anyone got one? I like the dual opening, especially with the option of a toolbox up front

Got mine delivered a few days ago, haven't had a change to install it yet. Hopefully this evening. Little more complicated and more install work, but shouldn't be terrible now that I've watched the video.

I have the Deuce 2 installed on my SuperCab Ranger and am very satisfied, and frequently use the front flip back. Previously I had one on my Nissan Frontier it still looked great even after 9 years of use parked outside.

For the 2019 Ranger, make sure it includes the bulkhead adapter and supplemental brackets. They should come with the cover, but some of the early stock did not.

Don’t have that model, but I’ve had Truxedos on several pickups and they always top quality!

Installed mine on my SuperCrew last night. Took a bit longer than a usual tonneau install, with the additional bulkhead seal and functionality of the cover. About an hour total, still not bad though. Wasn't too bad once I got into it and started to understand how it was going together.

Will need some practice on my part to get the front fold to open and close properly. The latch to open the front fold is still a little stiff, so hopefully that breaks in a bit more otherwise I'll just lube it up a bit. Allows great access to the accompanying Truxedo Expedition bag I also installed near the front bulkhead!

I saw that you sold this as you were switching to a topper. Did you like it otherwise? Any issues with fitment or tautness? Nothing worse than a soft cover flapping at highway speeds or the anxiety that comes with wondering if it is going to fly off!

I'm looking at this model in particular because I like the price point. My primary goal is moderate protection of gear for an upcoming road trip! Any input (pos/neg) would be appreciated!

I liked it very much. It was a perfect solution for our needs at the time. And I would've kept it if we didn't need the extra covered bed space a topper offers. It was taught and had no fitment issues whatsoever. The ability to open the front section and get things out or put things in was very helpful. Didn't have to roll up the whole thing just to grab a box or bag from the front half of the bed quick. Great for camping, travelling, or tool storage. It was as weather tight as any other tonneau.

The only issues I found was that it was a little finicky to unlatch the front section sometimes, and you had to go around to both sides and push down when closing the front section in order to ensure it latched completely. Also, the front section does lock, but you have unlock it from the inside of the bed to reopen it, which kind of defeats the purpose of the front opening. So it always felt a little iffy leaving it unlocked like that, but at the same time someone would have to know it has that option and how to open it in order to get in, which is pretty unlikely.

In the end, I would definitely recommend it for anyone who uses their bed often and still wants it covered and protected.
