Every now and then an odd ford part is found in my truck bed. Yesterday's find was some clip (it doesn't) from the tailgate.
19 ranger w/ suicide doors.

KB3B-2143043-AA. Apparently a clip that goes around the rotation point LH side for the tailgate.

Here is a parts breakdown of the tailgate. It is HC2 on the diagram. It clips onto the hinge of the tailgate; one for each side.

Google AI told me it was a mud flap for a Ford ranger

Here is a parts breakdown of the tailgate. It is HC2 on the diagram. It clips onto the hinge of the tailgate; one for each side.

That's where it goes, but unfortunately it no longer clips into position. Probably due to the plastic's age and being in the weather 24,7,365
