I find it curious that TVs drop in price while necessities continue to rise.
China - they dominate and by 2030 they are projected to be at 50% of ww production. If this was charted in 1995 you'd see the US being the dominant manufacturer. Good luck stopping this juggernaut. tariffs or no tariffs.

In this day and age of gender obfuscation - are those really men driving Ridgelines ?
I would drive one.
In fact, any much more trouble out of mine and I will be looking at one very seriously.

And I'll wear my pink shirt when I go test drive 'em.

Because I can.

My brother traded in his Colorado on a Ridgeline and he loves it. He gets 24-25 mpg highway driving, and the quality is very impressive. When you shut the doors, it sounds solid.

It is a great option if you are using it for hauling and getting around town. Forget about off road and heavy towing. It has its place and is a solid choice.

I've had all the TSB's done, my trans has been out twice and I thought they got it correct this spring, i thought. Now at 44,000 miles it is shifting hard or slipping between 3rd and 4th. I went to the local honda dealer who had a 2023 Tacoma with 52,000 miles for sale. I drove and liked liked the Tacoma and had i tentions of trading in the Ranger and buyi g the Taco.
But when we sat down they offered me 13,000k for the truck. Now wait, Carmax offered 21,000 and KBB says its worth 23 or so on a trade in. The appraiser said "Did you notice the soft shifts from 3rd to 4th? I don't want your truck because I'd have to repair or replace the trans. I'd probably send it to the auto auction and dump it."
I'm so glad I bought the extended warranty. Please fix this POS so I can dump it!
Just a quick update, i got on KBB and they offered $22,400 to buy my truck at 3 different dealerships. I went to the 1st dealer and they paid me $23,200 for it. Good by Ranger! I will never buy a Ford again.

You are correct. Having said that I don't know if he has swollen nuts or not.

Don’t blame you. I plan on following that same path in the next few months. Stick around on the forum though, lots of ex ranger owners are still active.

Nothing yet, I've been looking at 2017-2019 Frontier 2wd pickups. Had one prior to getting the Ranger. Pre safety sonar, lane keeping BS and the 4.0 ltr engine isn't exactly a fuel miser but it is like an old Chrysler 225 slant six engine,Takes a beating and keeps running.

I’ve heard nothing but good things about the last few gens of the frontier, there is a reason they are still on rental fleets

On Saturday I picked up a 2017 Nissan Frontier SV. Has 48,000 miles on it. V6 auto. The dealer put new brakes and rotors front and back and put new tires on it. No sensors front or back (yea!) The only downfall is that it doesn't have a backup camera but i am installing on this week, waiting from Amazon to deliever it.

Before this is over I may end up following your path... Not sure on the replacement yet, but I am inching closer to doing something very similar. I've put a lot of $$ and sweat equity into my 2020 Ranger, but I'm not sure yet if the results will justify the cost.

I've been seriously considering the same. An older truck with modern brakes and drive train. No nanny stuff, little electronics. I've still got my 2005 Ranger, and it just goes on and on.
My 2005 Ranger is still on the road today and still looks brand new. My neighbor uses it as his daily driver. The 4.0 L engine is great. My new 2024 Ranger has a 2.3L hope its as great ?
The 2024 has a different transmission than the 5g rangers.....hope thats great too?
Any thoughts?
