I've tried to retrain the sensors a couple times, then sent it to the dealer to get sorted but I needed the truck and had to snatch it back. The dealer said it had some BCM trouble codes, but didn't diagnose further. The RTM seems to be working as the key, remote start etc all seem to work. One odd thing, last weekend I was driving back and went through that crazy deluge in the Nevada desert. At one point the Cruise control stopped working because it said the front camera was blocked. I understand that system also runs through the BCM.

I just got this truck. Its a 2019 Ranger Lariat with only 31K on it. As a side note, whom ever it was that programmed the Transmission control module should be surrendered to a volcano as a sacrifice.

If this truck had a 6R80 and didn't lock up the converter until 60-65mph, it'd be perfect.

If I had to, (at one point I was an ASE certified mechanic) can I get a BCM and an RTM and simply replace all the BS, avoiding the Dealer entirely? Or do those have to be programmed or introduced to the main computer?

Cruise Control issue, the Foward Looking Camera - Intergrated with Rear View Mirror has a small little window and a small heater for defogging the space behind the cover. (Note it is only intended for interior window fog)
If you were in a heavy rainstorm, then the camera view would be blocked, and it will trigger a small warning to clear the camera view.
If you live in a area that gets frost, get used to seeing that message, (Frost and Heavy Dew) it will clear on its own once the view is cleared.

TPMS - I would try BCM Self-Test and clear codes, then perform the sensor activation procedure.
If the BCM is holding fault codes related to TPMS, then the TPMS deactivates.
They may self-learn, but if there is an issue you will see it when you actually do an activation procedure.

Note: If just 1 sensor has a bad battery (dead sensor) the retrain or calibration will never complete, it has to see all (4) sensors for the process to learn

Ok, so the Ford dealer in association with the Dealer I got this truck from (not a Ford dealer) fixed the TPMS problem. They told me what it was, but I find it tough to believe.

The Tech reached out for a $400 Diag fee to dismount and mount all 4 tires to physically check the actual sensors on the wheels. My Service Advisor okay'd it and off they went.

No Sensors.

All 4 were missing. That's the story I got. I find this extremely hard to believe. But it's fixed now and all the other weird stuff quit happening (other than the idiotic transmission shift strategy).

This sort of thing is why I quit the car business.

I concur on batteries, my guess is it's probably time to replace all 4 sensor batteries.

Well, from what I was told and it appears that all 4 tires were dismounted and remounted as all 4 have yellow tire markings where the valve stems are, so when they remounted the tires, the balance wouldn't be horribly upset (if they even checked it)
