Touch screen freezes almost daily

Anybody else have to reset their screen daily? It either goes black on start or gets stuck in the backup cam and then blue screens.

Ouch, that's not good, I am sure you reset it, and pulled the Battery + for 30 minutes to reset everything. Hope your warranty hasn't run out yet.

Ah i havnt tryed pulling the battery yet for a full reset, ill give that a go

Happens to me at least once a week. Usually holding the power & track forward button for 5 seconds for it to reboot fixes it.

Mine will do something really odd about once a month, but cycling the power stops it. My favorite was getting stuck with the rear view camera on. That was at least maybe useful. The stuck on Ford emblem or black screen is less useful.

When it is running do a master reset. You will fing it under settings, general, sync

I'm getting one from Flood Ford the very moment I bring my Ranger home from the dealer unless anybody here has any other ideas on warranty sources

As others have mentioned, you can disconnect the battery for a few minutes, or do a reset, or do a master reset, all of which may help you, at least for a while.

If I had your problem, I would ensure I was on SYNC 3.4 and Build 21194 and I would use CYANLABS to do the upgrade if needed. It has been documented on this forum that earlier versions have caused problems although mainly with the audio.
