Hello everyone, I have Ford Explorer 2017, I have about three weeks since I bought it, and I had two flat tires.

despite replacing all four tires, the tire sensor light remains on. The technician who installed the new tires advised me to drive for a bit, and the light should automatically reset.

I prefer not to do it myself to avoid mixing things up.
Any help would be appreciated.

Since the light is still on, means that they either need to be (Retrained/Activated) with a Scan Tool or the code needs reset, as it is a possibility one of the sensors was damaged with the Flat Tire (if you drove on it flat) so it may require a new sensor.

Do you have a display (screen) that displays the actual pressures to isolate which sensor is triggering the light? or they all (Dashed (X) out?

So, you should be able to take it back to the installer, they have a tool to retrain the sensors and if that does not work, they can scan for the failing sensor

But.........this is a Ranger forum.........?
No biggie. His problem is common to most all vehicles. I have dead battery in the LF TPMS on my 2009 Mariner and the TPMS fault displays every startup. It doesn't bother me; as it's my wife's car ? I'll probably get it replaced the next time I buy tires for it

I get it. I just find it odd the OP doesn't even own a Ranger.

Yeah, but he did know where to come to get an answer to his immediate problem.
Kudos to him for being smart enough to ask here.

What is the Ranger???

Jacky, on behalf of our great Prime Minister, Pierre Poutine, and the other ten or so Canuckleheads on here, I have no option but to ask you to give up your Canadian passport, turn in your Buffalo check flannel shirt, any and all Roots clothing, all the maple syrup in your fridge, as well as any Céline Dion, Shania Twain, Leonard Cohen, Rush, or Tragically Hip CDs you own - you must keep the Nickelback CDs, no exceptions.

And lay off the CC and Coke until you come to your senses about “And what is the Ranger???”

I’m not sure about explorer but my 2014 focus would take two - three weeks when I took my winter tires off and put the all seasons back on. Maybe it’s just a waiting game?

I honestly didn't know what 'Ranger' meant. Wow, I saw aggression before I even arrived. I'm sorry.

I wasn't born with a Ranger label, so I don't get the reference. No wonder I'm confused!

Sir, while I grant you the freedom to express your opinions about me, I must insist that you refrain from making mocking comments about my country, which has welcomed me with utmost respect, affection, and love.

"And now, please park on the edge with your Ranger."

You can dream!
I joined here while I still had my 2018 Escape. The escape.org forum was rife with posts about coolant intrusion into the cylinders at that time, and I was on the fence between an F-150 and a Ranger. So I came on here looking over everyones' shoulder to see if there was the same thing going on; there wasn't, and I ordered me one up.
