18,000 miles and my driver's seat is showing creases...

Anyone else notice this on their XLT cloth seat? Heavy noticable lifting on the seat and creases on the outer bolster from entry/egress...WTF:curse:

Saw your other post on this but figured I'd post here too. Mine has been doing this for some time now and I only have about 7500 miles. The middle-rear of the seat cushion is creasing too.

So same as mine then...I'm slightly over 18 thousand and am very careful getting in and out and only weigh around 160 so I can't imaging what a 300lb plus guy/gal/he/she/them/chee or whatever jumping in and out for a 100 thousand mile would do to this seat...:whew::LOL:

I really need to get the step rails. I'm hoping that will at least stem off the side bolster creasing.

It is for this reason that I got rails for both my Colorado and Ranger. Both trucks are at an awkward height. Not impossible for either my wife or I to get into, but I could see damage to the side of the seat in my future if I didn't have steps.

I did put some steps on, I sometimes use them to get in but they just feel awkward to use them getting out.

Same here. Getting out you almost have to side step it facing backwards or if you step over them they smack you in the calves.

I have found the same with the steps that came with the truck. Its taking some getting used to.

Mine are the same (stock). I didn't want them but they were already on there and were only going to give me a $200.00 if they removed them so I just kept them for now.

I'm the same way. Tall enough to get in, but not tall enough to get out. I need to get back in the habit of using the steps to get out of the truck.

A little over 5k here and mine has it. I don't use the steps but my wife and kid do. Guess I need to get used to using them too.
