When I first brought home my black Ranger Tremor, I cleaned it up myself. I told them not to clean it. Anyway, I washed it and during that time the cloudy day that was supposed to stay cloudy all day long, sprang a bunch of sunshine. So, you guessed it, I got water spots all over the hood. I later hand waxed it and the damn water spots did not wax out
So, I found I had some water spot remover from Meguiar's. I just spent about 30 minutes with this stuff and 99% of the water spots are gone from the hood. I will need to look at it in the sunshine tomorrow and catch any spots I may of missed. However I am extremely impressed with this product.

Anyone else use this stuff? Or what is your trick to avoid water spots on a dark vehicle?
Thanks!
