KO2's 1000%, one of the best tires i've ever used and abused. They also look beastly too, can't go wrong!

The KO2 are heavier 56 to XT 48 leaning towards the Firestone, just seems like everyone has the BFG and not many reviews on the Firestone.
That's why I would go with Firestone.

I put BFG KO2s on my 2014 Tacoma and almost immediately busted a belt on one of the tires with moderate off-roading. I wasn't overly impressed for the money.

Yeah after my experience with both BFG and the Firestone Destination XT I can promise you the XT will win over the KO2. Also the amount of weight between the tires is bigger than you believe. First off you have Unsprung Weight. The lower it is the better the suspension will handle the vehicle. @P. A. Schilke can elaborate a bit better I'm sure. Also with a lower rotational weight it is much easier to have better Fuel Mileage and accelerate easier.

Dont forget about my Write up on the Firestones!!

Hi Chris,

The more unsprung weight the more slowly the suspension/vehicle responds as the inertial mass is increased..or more sluggish handling can result... Lighter is better, heavier likely worse...

Make sense???

Best,
Phil

I should mention that the Toyo AT 3 in LT is heavier than the Firestone being asked about in the same size. Just wanted to put that out there

All this talk about tires has me checking prices. Better start saving my money, goes they aint cheap.
Long gone are the days of buying a set for $400. Now its close to that per wheel with balancing and mounting.

My last Ranger I had Toyo’s on and it drove awesome in New England weather conditions on and off road. When it’s time for new skins on this one I’m definitely going with them again. Wore evenly and lasted a very longtime. Mileage didn’t suffer at all ether!
