Old d8 I was running at work. Thought the pic turned out well.
Way cool! I consult for the University of Arizona's School of Mines and they have mining equipment that I helped maintain as well as operate...the LHD was quite cool machine. You sit sideways in it. I got pretty good at getting it to Load, Haul and Dump, but the first time was not pretty....It gave me a renewed appreciation for those folks that have the skill set to operate big equipment!

Hi Billy,Why did it have 36 for the year?
Well...the 10th digit of the VIN is the model year... The date of production 4/36 may indicate the 4th day of the 36th week, but it is my guess only...Not really good on door labels but trust the VIN for the model year....

Lol yeah kinda. It's a hammer, or hydraulic breaker. If the trackhoe is big enough, and you set it level, it's not bad.
