I see the bright one to the lower right, but I also see one above to the right (have to expand screen to see it) that is not bright. That one is very interesting to me. Curious. ?
it is kinda odd. typically without good photo setup / equipment taking pictures of anything in the night sky typically turns out to be black background and blobs of light lol. im guessing at least one of the two is just a reflection of some sort.

Maybe. But both are similarly shaped. I always love looking up at moon and stars. You just never know what you may see.:)

these are poor quality but funny story. last winter dfw got a real winter. a few days after it melted off i kept hearing this strange knocking sound in my kitchen near a back window. this sound happened off and on night and day for three days. i looked all over trying to figure it out. morning of day four im sitting down to my bacon and eggs at the kitchen table and sure enough thump knock knock. it struck me i looked every where but outside. i go out and follow the sound to the gutter down pipe on the side of the house just past the window. something was inside the pipe! my gutters run into under ground drains so i was surprised... after taking the gutter and down spout apart at the collector i find this poor guy inside about half dead. i pulled him half way out and he just sat still exhausted breathing as if stunned to be free. after about three minutes he wearily went back up his tree. never rescued a dang squirrel from a pipe before:crackup:.

Now he is going to build a nest in your Ranger’s engine compartment.

The only thing missing is a Damper

Don't care for the new Windows 11 Task Bar but getting used to it. Do like it that Microsoft is eliminating the Control Panel as a stand alone and is consolidating its features into the Settings configuration. With the early version of Windows 11 that came installed on this Laptop had some glitches with earlier software, mouse and keyboard operation and File Explorer but HP downloaded the latest version for me. This late version of Windows 11 after being installed is really working smoothly now as Windows 10 does :)

So I was watching this "Green snake" animation movie on Netflix. The ending scene portrayed a bridge, weeping willows and a pagoda. Took me about millisecond to note that "been there, seen that".

Here's a picture from on top of that bridge :)

Edit: This also sparked an idea if I'd plant few of those trees to the forest for fun. But no, they will not survive the winters. But seems that there's a German hybrid Salix sepulcralis (x) 'Chrysocoma' which might survive. Maybe I'll plant few of those if and when those are available in here.
