Just wanted to let everyone know that Sun Joe has great customer service and a great warranty. I was using my Sun Joe SPX3000 this weekend and the motor started acting up. I use mine all the time with a foam cannon to wash my truck and it works great. Well until the other day. lol When you'd release the trigger it would continue to run (it should shut down) and intermittently it would loose pressure. They have a 2 year warranty and I've had mine for just over a year now. One phone call to customer service this morning and I already have a brand new one shipped out, it'll be here by Thursday.

In case there were some thinking about getting one of these I thought I'd let others know if you do have any issues with yours they will take care of it. With the poor CS everywhere lately it's nice to have a company make it easy and not fight you on a return.

Bought mine here.

I purchased the above on Oct 26, 2017 and it still works great, the nozzle hose is starting the get weather cracks in it but still sprays. Oh and don't be lazy get the one that you wrap your hose, the reel one is a pain to roll and unroll, the floppy handle always gets in the way.

I added the 25' extension hose to my Sun Joe and it's perfect now. I can leave the unit in the garage and there's plenty of hose to get around the truck. I have a water spigot connected to my water softener so everything is tucked nice in the corner. I love these electric units for washing the truck because they shut down as soon as you release the trigger. The gas ones continuously run which can damage the pump if not in use.

I had a power washing business back east and never liked the reels. The hoses I had were much better than these (commercial grade) and I had 100' of them and they were really easy to coil up.

In one of the comments they recommend using a pump protector lubricant. I never have because I use mine a lot but it might be something to add to yours if you're not using it much. Mines connected to my water softener so that helps too. Here's the quote from Amazon

I had bought this pressure washer just over 2 years ago for one job lasting about 4 hours total. At the time, I put the unit away and forgot about it for 2 years until I needed it this summer. When I took it out and fired it up, the pump ran for about 5 seconds then "died." I tried for days to get it to work with no luck. I was one week over the 2 year warranty, so I was pretty ticked off I was stuck with this hunk of junk.

Talking with a guy at work he mentioned you're supposed to use a pump protector lubricant after each time you use the pressure washer. I read up on this a bit, and the leftover water in the unit can cause the pumps internal gaskets to seize up. This might be due to the minerals in the water, I don't really know. I was considering buying a different unit, then thought I'd take a shot at using the pump protector liquid on my "dead" pressure washer.

At Wall Mart I bought "Powerfit 3oz Power Washer Pump Protector" in the tools isle. This $5 liquid brought my pump and pressure washer right back to life!! You actually screw the plastic threads on the bottle into the threaded garden hose inlet on the pressure washer. Then just squeeze the bottle a bit. I didn't realize if I was doing it right because I couldn't tell if the liquid was actually going in. About 10 minutes later I connected the hose and the unit worked.
