Thanks. I read this about the ICONs when I was deciding between them an the OME but I decided to go with them anyways. If they start to squeak I'll throw some Red-N-Tacky on them. If that doesn't work out I'm not too concerned.

What was your fix?

At this point it'll be a wait and see for me. They're already on the truck, so time will tell if they squeak, how bad they squeak, etc If there are issues it'll be a bummer but I can try greasing and padding them and always have the OEM Leafs that I can throw back on if it ends up being to much for me..

I pulled the springs back out and drilled a hole in the spring that did not come with a cushion. I used spring cushions for a F150..
worked out great and no more noise from them. I tried putting grease under the spring but only lasted a week..

I have had mine on for almost 15k hard off road miles and there is no issue with squeaking. Fully loaded truck with a lot of weight on the back end. Also have the Fox 2.5 shocks maybe that helps? If I remember correctly there was cushions between all the leafs.

No peeps no squeaks, no cushions between leaves....l gave the end bushings a shot of 3-n-1 Oil dry lube and torqued everything to spec.....3 years now ...1st batch Stage 3motorsports got from ICON.
Running them with the 2.5 ICON shocks...

Do not know what to tell you I am traveling and not with my truck right now so cannot double check. As I said I if I timber correctly they all had cushions. All I know is they are quiet. Only thought I have is to make sure final torque is done with full weight on suspension. I loaded bed with extra weight and had my overland rack and tent mounted. I know it was hard to get U Bolts torqued final was I think 180ft lbs. I think it was done in four steps slowly increasing each time and sequencing the order. Took me and my son both on torque wrench for final setting.

U Bolts torque to 98ft lbs. Final step with
wheels on ground.... The hardest bolt/nut to torque is front/top bushing , up by the fuel tank, that is 190ft lbs...

I knew it was something like that, I was quoting from memory and they were done 3 years ago. I remembered one torque was very high just got which one wrong..
