Steering wheel buttons and center very warm.

2021 xlt tremor. Has anyone had their steering wheel buttons feel warm? Went to drive home from work and each side was warm and the center area was a little warm too. Wasn't the sun either as was a dark rainy day. Did have Ford change the oil today but I drove it few times after I picked it up and didn’t notice this.

There was a recent thread with those symptoms - turned out to be a short in the clock spring? Do your controls work? Do you have any increased battery drain while parked?

Controls worked. And haven’t had any battery drain issues. But I just noticed this few hours ago so I will see when I attempt to start er in the morning.

Started up fine this morning and took for 10 min drive. Steering wheel was not warm and all seems to work fine.

I was actually thinking I’ll wake up and it’ll be burned to the ground. But all seems good now. Have other rattles and bumps and vibes to figure out now

I also had that problem and posted it. The battery would be dead within 48 hours if I did not drive it. None of the buttons on the steering wheel would work.
Test your battery as soon as you park it and test it again the next day before starting it up. Mine went from 12.6, I think it was, down to 12.2, then 11.9 by the next morn.
don't hesitate getting it looked at.
