Shrockworks slider install challenges?

Looking for experiences to see if I should call BS, or at the least to take my ranger somewhere else next time.

I got the sliders from Shrockworks a little over a year ago, after procrastination of a self install and a major life disruption I took it to a local spot for an install. 2020 Ranger FX4

I thought this would be a one to two hour job and budgeted for that. They said the holes didn’t quite line up but were close resulting in over 6 hours labor, they charged me for 5. I probably don’t have any recourse and the sliders look solid, nice one they re open the trails they will get a real test And I can’t wait even if I got hosed on the $$$.

Looking for thoughts and opinions while I wish I would have hung out for the install or tried myself before thorowing money at it.

I did my own install without problems...I'd give DIY a try first...there's only one hole that needs drilling but it's optional and easy...the rest of the holes should line up for bolts...unless there was an error when they fabbed it up...I used a floor jack, balanced the sliders on it and carefully maneuver then lift into position...

yeah, it didn't take me that long in my driveway. water under the bridge now if they're already installed, and there won't be any more.

Yeah for sure, but wondering what the hell they drilled though, sounds like I shouldn't go back to these guys. I do see both replies are 2019 Rangers, mine is 2020 although they should be the same. Wondering if the put L or on R side, and so on.

Too late for that since they're already on, are they side specific? ie, like I said in my other reply here, wondering if they just put them on the wrong side. The said they have video of the install, I'll request it when I take it back in for another install problem I had with them that they said they'd cover. I'm more just wondering "WTF?" as opposed the the money.

I have a 21 and no issues with mine lining up. I had them on in less than an hour including drilling the one hole.

Took me about an hour in the garage with a small floor jack on my '21, everything lined up fine. Looks like they ripped you off.

Oh man not that it matters now but hope they were smart enough to put them on the correct side. If they look the same front to back I could see that happening buy an inexperienced installer.

Yes, they are...they have to be as the frame is not symmetrical sounds like they mixed them up...

Also wondering if it was a shrockworks QC issue, going to see if the shop has the video they said they did of the install, but when I asked today over the phone calling about something else got a "maybe we still have it" money is money and while I don't have extra, I'm just wondering "WTF" took them over 5 hours? yelp reviews are good, but this is my first experience with the shop.
