I have a 3.9 with an degree in criminal justice. (I only went this path due to line of work)

Sadly a degree in cosmetology would probably be more real world useful. lol

When I was in Junior High (Middle School for my American friends), the milk chutes in the houses on the way to my bus stop would sometimes fall victim to the occasional dishonest teenager in search of lunch money.

Of course, it wasn’t long before they switched from cash to pre-purchased tokens.

Yep.

In some of the older parts of Denver and Longmont people still use 'em.

As a relief driver I see a wide variety of stuff. Best note for a cooler was "deliver to VW bus on porch." I was slightly perplexed but sure 'nuff the large, 1/8 th scale maybe, metal VW bus sculpture had a hinge @ the top with a cooler inside.
