I took my Tremor off road within the first month. Probably got some pinstriping from the branches, definitely hit something on a large rock (but no damage so whatever), and got plenty of dings from the gravel I chucked out of the tires on the way out. But that way I just get it over with. It's a truck, it's supposed to get dirty and banged up.

My buddy put a nice big dent in the front bumper of his new Jeep on the first trail ride. He's still got the dent 8+ years later.

I've been lucky and haven't damaged anything besides the crossmember that goes over the transmission. We were up in UT and I came over an off camber right corner onto a large rock. I noticed a vibration once I got back on the road and saw it was creased and pushed up.

I think Frenchy holds the record for the most off road damage when he hit that cow a few months back.

Except this want OffRoad!!

Here is the most I had for OffRoad damage. For some reason one of the front struts broke at the bottom. Of course I was on the trail when it happened but the good news is ARB had no problems helping to the best of their ability. Along with the strut the inner tierod got bent as well.

Hey Lane, how far up the mountain were you on Wheeler Pass Road when that happened?
I was going to head up to the Wheeler Pass Campground area one day soon.
I see that you can use Google Maps and mouse click your way to the Kilns and further.
It looks a little narrow in places. Thanks, Robert

We went in the cold creek side. If you come in from Pahrump you won’t encounter any obstacles. Mostly forest road.

We were close to the summit when we had the most trouble.
Marked in red is the nasty section.

Not to change thread, but what's the screen shot of the map from? GPS? Computer? Looks pretty detailed. I'm a noob when it comes to this, so please bare with my ignorance in this matter. ;)

Gaia gps. It’s an app you can get on your phone. Works decently well even in low service areas. It’s mostly free but I have the 25$/year subscription that gives you more overlays.

This last weekend on a trail I regularly drive on to get to a hot spring. Wasn't paying enough attention and the bank had changed at the stream crossing due to the spring melt. Just glad I didn't bash my fog light I installed the previous day ?

Scrapes and scratches on bumpers and skid plates are just a sign that you're using your truck for what it's intended. I tend to road rage on people driving SUV's and trucks when they stop traffic waiting for someone to come out of a driveway, just so they don't have to driver over the curb edge, drives me wacko.

Great thread. Hope it gives me the strength to continue waiting for my Rock Road Outfitter sliders to be built and delivered before I embark on something to serious.?
