I used 3M VHB tape and bonded it to the lower flat on the grille opening...thankfully, the LED's been very reliable...replacing it would mean I'd have to pry the light off carefully...

I would be nervous just having tape holding it on, i had a siren bracket break one day and I ran over it, luckily only a few scrapes on the undercarriage. I felt it but didn't see any debris in front of me and my buddy following me told me what it was, he straddled it also.

On the contrary...I'm worried that it won't come off if I'd ever have to replace it lol...

I would say i like your worry better than mine lol. I had some pieces of equipment fall off my dashboard or windshield while working.
