I tried all three settings, a member here said straight to stiff, I ended up on stiff.

I hear you on the crawling under the truck with an old body, I think I used to live under a car I liked working on them so much, now it's work just just crawling around.

I hope you get the results you are looking for?
Ok I'll leave it on stiff and try it. It means I don't have to crawl under the truck!!!

I too would attempt the stiffest first. Get the most change for your money and dial back as needed. But starting with shocks will make a huge difference OP. Try it out
Yup already have the shocks, Bilsteen 5100s, they kept me satisfied for over a year till now.

At least the adjustment is a somewhat easy task compared to the install!

Mike , I forgot to ask you, did you remove the spare as in retrospect it would have made the install easier???
As another retired senior citizen I will tell you it is always easier to work on the rear suspension if you drop the spare. Gives you much more room to work and slide under the rear.
When I did my rear shocks, and the Roadmaster set up, droping the spare was the first thing I did.
It takes all of what, 60 seconds to drop it.....no brainer !!!
Also, gives you a chanced to clean it, 303 it, and check psi.

I did not drop the spare, I thought about it but I didn't want to wrestle with the tire.

Wish I had in retrospect as it would have made things easier for my old creeky bones. The mind says yes but the body says no , don't do it!!!

Ok, just took a short ride to make sure the Hellwig performed properly and I was pleasantly surprised at the ride. I can say my first limited reaction was positive and all felt good as I expected. Of course 10 miles or so is not a true test but the bar felt good and I probably will leave it on stiff if it performs well after using it a while.

Mike, thx for your imput as I might have changed the setting but so far I prefer not too

Ok just put 40 miles on the Hellwig and I got to say it corners like a dream. It makes turns flat in the corner no leaning and I couldn't be happier. The firm setting is perfect for me as I now drive a sports car, haha!!! Its almost worth the almost $700 I paid, and I would do it again unfortunetly.
