I’m taking my Ranger in to get the spray in bed liner done (the only option I wanted the truck didn’t have when I bought it). My truck has the plastic rail caps. Do I remove them and get liner on the rails or leave them? What have y’all done or what do you recommend?

Make sure any screw/bolt holes (for the anchor points/swing boxes) are covered otherwise you'll get spray liner in there and you'll have to clean it out w/ a thread tap.
I have the passenger side swing case so I can just remove case and leave the bolts in I assume?

No, don't leave the bolt in...they will get covered b y the spray and the bolt torx holes will get filled. You need to remove the bolts and have the company plug the threaded holes.
If the company doesn't have or provide plugs, get some small tapered cork or rubber plugs at Lowes/Home Depot. or use some tapered dowel pieces to plug the holes. Even some old bolts with the same thread, thread them in but leave enough of the bolt protruding so you can get a pair of pliers on them to unscrew them out.

Leave them on and buy some golf tees just in case. Also make sure your bed liner company is local. I bought my truck downtown and when I got it back from getting it sprayed it had 90 new miles on it because that company was cheaper than one just down the street from the dealer.

If I recall, the shop that did mine used Golf Tees to plug the threaded holes when spraying.
The place that did mine removed the tie downs, the plastic filler plugs and the screws holding the access panel on the tail gate. All threaded holes were plugged with golf tees.

Make sure you remove your damper before you take it in , it has nothing to do with the bed liner , but it keeps them from laughing at you after you leave...
Not a problem. There will never be a damper on my 4 pound tailgate! ???

Spray on bed liners are the way to go and then add a bed mat to save your knees and the mat keeps your stuff in the back from sliding around too much.

I'm going to remove my plastic rail caps and the plastic cap on top of the tailgate and having them sprayed with LineX. I live in the salt belt and my 4G ranger rusted terribly under both areas. They hold dirt, moisture, and salt badly.
