I wanted a platform for totes and gear inside my 2020 SuperCab so I pulled the rear seats out and fabricated a bench using a sheet of 3/4" Baltic Burch which I had coated with Line-X. Mounted up into the stock seatbelt points in the frame and purchased the OEM Ranger Seat Delete panel and trim to cover up the rear wall of the cab. Considerably less expense than a Goose Gear Panel and in my opinion a better fit and finish. Plan to add L-Track to the forward edge to afifix straps to hold down cargo. Stoked on the results. Onto the next project...

Yup, expensive. Bought the rear seat delete panel and trim for mine awhile back...somewhere just south of $300.

I ended up putting a cargo holder thingy with pockets on mine , left the seat backs but took out the bottoms , i didn't really want a platform as i like the wells behind the seats...

Yep, giving up access to the wells was a tradeoff but I gained infinite tote space above on the platform. I also use a bottle jack instead of the Ford scissor jack which is typically stored behind the seat. My recovery bag (including my jack) will not live under the platform lip.

Man this is exactly what I am planning! Looks great!! I read somewhere the back portion of the seat is a PITA to remove?

Very easy...seat back only held on by several threaded bolts and plastic retainers.
Do a search for removing Scab rear seat backs.

Agreed, removal is straight forward. While I had everything off I installed Kilmat sound deadening which definitely helped with cab noise.

Very nice. I just pulled my seat cushion bottoms out, but left the backs. That system would be great for what I use my truck for.

Only suggestion I would make (I know, I know) is to hinge the front so the platform could be lifted to access underneath.

Might as well go all the way !!! Take out seat belts and get the XL pillar trim and remove all doubt that they actually expected people to ride back there , The new Tacoma Supercabs don't even have the seats anymore , just nifty storage , and at least a look from me if nobody else wants to make supercabs anymore...
