Ordered 9/19 and have a blend date of 2/1, with the keypad.
Well, got window sticker today, and production notification a couple days ago, but I noticed delivery got pushed to 03/03/19 and blend date is now 01/31/19.
Yeah, for sure... the train goes to Laurel, MT auto terminal for all vehicles and then on a truck from there. It does take a while. UGH.
it comes out to an ave of 40 miles per day on delivery.
it leaves MAP to go to a yard in Chicago, then to a yard in the twin cities, finally being loaded on a transport to Brookings, SD.
From my understanding, it's the build date, the internal date used at the factory for tracking etc. @rangerdanger correct me if my understanding is wrong.

I am literally in the exact same situation as you. By chance is your order a SuperCab?So, mine has been "in production" since the 14th, the delivery date was a week ago, the website still hasn't updated, and the dealer says they still haven't even received a pre-shipment invoice or anything. Although it says it'll be delivered in 7 days, it's actually just counting backwards from the estimated delivery date. Yesterday it said it would be delivered in six days, the day before said five days.
I'm very disappointed in Ford's lack of timeliness and communication.
Mine showed in production and 1/16 for over a week and then jumped to in transit (skipped awaiting shipment) and has been that way for about 5 days now. No longer showing any time to delivery updates. I don't think they can track it once it is on the train/transport. I believe it's getting close now. May be the 1st supercab in the group.
