Running tally of VIN #, order date and build date by Ranger5G member (2019 MY)

I asked my dealer about Sunday deliveries as my ETA is 2/3. He said they just drop the cars off on Sundays and dealer staff arrive Monday morning to find the cars sitting there.

That’s really interesting actually. Seems like a weird way of doing it.

I’m curious if this winter storm would delay anything. Hopefully our trucks don’t end up in a ditch on 69. lol

Actually a common procedure. Transport Co. (example: Hansen Adkins) has gate key/combo and drops during night. Vehicles are what is considered STI (subject to inspection). Dealer has 24 hours to check in and report any discrepancies or it's his. No problem.

VIN # ending in 23986. Build Date: 03/11/19, delivery 2 weeks later.

So I ordered my Lariat FX4 on 09/18/18 and have VIN number and build date of 03/11/19. Compared to others with similar order dates, seems pretty late. Dealer took my deposit on 09/17/18 and confirmed he ordered then, think he is being misleading?

Yeah I think think this storm screwed us. My delivery date was changed by a week.

It seems like your ROVP order should have been scheduled sooner than March 2019. You sure this is a ROVP order and not a dealer allotment?

I think it depends on where you live. I am in Colorado and nothing is showing upon here and i do not have an ETA
