Running tally of VIN #, order date and build date by Ranger5G member (2019 MY)

Is your build date still 1/7? I will update the spreadsheet.

When the dealer emailed me the correct VIN the email didn't say anything about a change in the build date. Is there a way to know the build date other than relying on the dealer?

As far as I can tell no. But if you wait until January the Ford order tracking website should update to “In Production” for your truck. That will be the build date.

I did some rough calculations on the production ramp up. When MAP ended pre-production this week they were building about 30 trucks a day, about 150 a week.

Scanned license, asked some questions, paid $500.00 deposit. Area code 90808.

Contacted the dealer a few times since, no build date, no VIN. Thinking an expected delivery in April or later... This is giving me Anxiety and Hives!

Typically the assembly plants (MAP) are down the holiday weeks of Dec. 24 through Jan. 6. My estimated delivery date (no build date yet) for # 3821 is Jan. 27.

My dealer is a slouch. Just received an email telling me that my Ranger has been scheduled into a build queue for the week of 1/14/19. The last 4 of the VIN are 3630. I have no clue when it will arrive; I'm hoping before mid Feb.
