I've never seen PDR other than some hail damage or flat panels popped in , if PDR can fix THAT , I would be amazed ? , creased and paint gouged it looks like in the pic, I am VERY SKEPTICAL! But would like to be pleasantly surprised in case I gets a boo boo...
That’s beyond PDR and will most likely be a conventional repair. At least if you want it to look good as new.

That was my thought but others here said it would "easily disappear " with a good PDR guy , so I am VERY interested in this process, I haven't mixed any filler for a decade or so but if filler and paint is not needed here , I want to see it ...

I have seen PDR repairs that when first seen you say no friggen way. There are some vids on YouTube like this. Lots of patience and technique and seeing the end result I shake my head. Unbelievable‼

Cool. So I'm thinking I'm going to get a quote on a fix instead of try it myself.
Sounds like it's beyond me without experience.
If it ends up over $1k, I'll go through insurance, pay the deductible and the builder will be in trouble at that point.

You should make sure your renters insurance is paid up.

That way in case the accidental fire at the construction site tonight spreads across the street you are covered.

God has done some vengeful things before, he'll forgive you.
