Looks like I'm wasting my time asking in the wrong forum. Instead of mechanical competency all I've found is attitude and immaturity.

These are all 'maybies' and trial and error replies. How much time and money should I invest in a brand new truck when Ford has clearly sold me a dud. The point in detailing the experience is in case others have had the same experience.

There is this droning aggravating noise constantly coming from under the driver dash. It is almost always while accelerating. Has this intermittent subtle sound like it's a computer chip processing. It comes and goes while driving and doesn't really have a rhyme or reason. It's not very loud...

Cool. So I'm thinking I'm going to get a quote on a fix instead of try it myself. Sounds like it's beyond me without experience. If it ends up over $1k, I'll go through insurance, pay the deductible and the builder will be in trouble at that point.

I was actually looking on how to purge it out of my computer. I don't use it and never will, but everytime I start the truck and plugin the phone, it defaults to the XM radio audio channel first. I have to suffer through THREE channels of garbage obnoxious ads before I get to the phone audio...

So the sub trades building houses across the street nailed my truck with their genie lift man basket. The scratch directions and them being full of mud when I found it tells the story. They deny it of course and without video evidence, there's a $1k insurance deductible that makes me fix this...
