I bought them. :O Not on eBay, but I did buy them. I don't remember what I paid, I bought them and the hardware the same time I bought the engine cover.

The funny thing? The locations where Ford deletes the hold downs are the ones I use the most.

These are easy to make if you have a few simple hand tools, a MAP gas torch, and a vice with an anvil plate on it or other flat hard surface.

This is more than likely a typo, maybe $9.49? I have seen this before with other sellers. One would hope they are not stupid to ask that much for a set of tie downs.

It's not. I got quoted a similar price from my local dealer in the fall.
