Generally speaking short trips can be tough on a battery. You pull a lot of amps on a single start and a short trip usually isn't enough to put those amps back in a battery. If you're lucky you can revive the battery. That said don't be surprised if you need to replace it in the very near futureSo the desulfator hasn't arrived yet, but I've kept the Ranger on the Battery Tender Jr. I also drove it around 30 miles on the highway today. Here are the readings after getting home.

I guess the short trips around town a few times each week are tough on the battery and just keeping it on the charger is all that's needed. The ASS and remote starting haven't been a problem since I started doing that.
