I imagine the Canadians will know this as well, the Ode of Remembrance, it's commonly used on Remembrance day in Commonwealth Countries. They gave their lives, so we could have lives.

They shall grow not old,
as we that are left grow old:

At the going down of the sun
and in the morning
We will remember them.
