Rear USB/plug relocate

Throw my three boys in the back seat and those power ports get kicked. I've already had to needle nose USB plug pieces out. At times I've needed at least 4 USB per cords plugged in running to the back, for Switches and phones. Soo, since the center console is a giant waste of space what about relocating those ports within the console box with an access hole drilled with 3-6 USB cords pulled thru?

something like this would be better, no vehicle modification required unless you want to velcro it to the side of the console or something
