Area behind USB ports

There appears to be a panel above and behind the USB ports. Before I start to see if there is space behind I thought I would ask if anyone as removed this panel. I am hoping to add more ports there or use it to hide my flash drive.

There is some space in certain areas. you'd have to locate your USB ports in the appropriate areas, but you should be able to find some space

oh, for anyone thinking about doing this, I ended up adding an extra USB socket under the radio/hvac controls next to the factory front USB port(s), and a 12dv socket inside the glove box. There's just enough room in both places, and I just tapped into the wires for the two factory 12dv sockets. can take some pictures if anyone is interested.
