Good morning all,
I turned the rear Seat Occupancy Warning back on in my truck to remind me to get anything input in the backseat out (not my kid, she reminds me she is there).
When I leave the truck, I acknowledge the screen before getting out. Most times the display and dash than dim when I open the drivers door, like normal. On occasion the occupancy screen goes away and it goes to the normal audio display. I can change input, adjust volume etc.
Mind you this is with the key removed from the ignition.
If I cycle the key it turns off as expected.
It happens at times when I don't feel comfortable letting it sit to see if it times out, so I haven't tried that.
[The gf's subaru did a similar thing and it required replacing the entire radio and being in the shop for weeks.... (Hers would not turn off, and would randomly change to playing static at max volume... And required pulling the fuse or battery terminal) it was fun on the interstate....]
If anyone else has similar experience I'd appreciate the insight.
Thanks,
John
