Rear bumper fix

Decided to post in this part of the forum.

My wife hit something on passenger side. Want to try to fix it myself.
What are the steps to remove rear bumper?

someone backed into me today in a parking lot.. exact same damage but on the drivers side. if i can fix it myself i would.. did you ever get any info?

Unfortunately no. left as is for now.

thanks, since its not my fault and the guilty party waited, im taking it in to my dealer service to see what it would take to fix. hoping they can get in back into shape, the paint is fine, just the mounting tabs on the metal end parts is bent out of alignment...

Body shop at the dealer is not interested in trying to fix the existing part, that end, painted gray part is over $600 alone.. sheesh, feel bad for the kid that backed in to me. total estimate is $1200

It's a three piece bumper. You pop the trim/tread piece off and that reveals the eight bolts that hold it on. Really easy to remove.
