Hi all,

while I wait for Ford to finish building my new lariat fx4, thought I'd spend some more money!!
The supplier I'm using in Canada, TDOT Performance, which have been excellent BTW, has the
Ready Lift 3" LEVELING KIT-FORD RANGER 2019-2020, SKU 66-2930 available,
but when I asked about upper control arms, the only option really, that they had was,
Rough Country 50008 - Upper Control Arms For 3.5" Lift Kits Part #50008.
But the literature for the RC UCA, state, for 3.5 lift only! And the Ready lift is only 3".

Can I use the Rough Country 3.5 UCA with the Ready lift 3" level kit??!

I plan on going with the 265/70 18" tires, or spend even more and upgrade to the 285/70 17" and have to buy new wheels!

Do I even need new UCA with the Ready lift spacers?

I been reading all the posts, but not quite sure about these options!

Both BDS and Icon also make affordable upper control arms. You might need them, but it all depends on how your alignment looks after the lift. UCAs may be needed in order to get it all back into spec.

And that's why I figured I'd just get both at once, so I wouldn't have an issue with alignment!

Hey Drew, FWIW.... I had the ReadyLift 3” level (front only) installed by a local 4X4 shop the first week I had the truck.

It was their first Ranger they did. Took ‘em all day! (UCA’s were never in the equation) According to the tech, they did an alignment as part of the install, but nothing out of the ordinary.

The truck has driven perfectly at all speeds and conditions.... couldn’t be happier.

BTW.... this is the lift my Ford dealer installs and warranty’s.

Thanks for the reminder, like I said, I've read everything on the forum, and was starting to get overwhelmed with all the info!!

Your truck looks real good N level so I'll do the same!

And just refresh my memory, what size tires and wheels are you running?
