Something is wrong here. There is no such thing as this short pad life unless something is really wrong. Are you a left foot braker that rest your foot on the brake pedal. If no... then there is something really wrong with your braking system. Further diagnosis required. Our Porterfield brakes or Foredo DS11 pads was substantially longer on the racetrack circuits which is hell on brakes!

Screw the dealer....go to an independent brake shop based on these quotes prices.

Is this the picture they showed you saying that you needed brakes? Because if so, this pictures shows you 0 indication of wear and is totally useless for knowing what your pad level is at. I agree with Phil, take it to another shop. Possibly another dealer if you have one close by.

Wow....you need to lay off the brakes if you got that short life outta them

But any auto parts store should have them.

Have you tried online stores such as ebay, amazon or other outlets to have them shipped to you?

I agree with the others. Something is very wrong if you are going through brake pads so quickly. Maybe your emergency / parking brake is not dis-engaging correctly. We have some beefy brake pads on our trucks. You sure they are your original brakes they are showing you?

No way should you burn through them in 7,500 miles of normal driving. Even if towing heavy, non brake assisted loads up and down mountains you should still have more brake pads left than a few millimeters.

No i always disengage the handbrake before accelerating, and yes they're showing me the original brakes, i was there when they removed it, i just don't know about the dealer if they changed it before giving me the car when i bought it brand new , so can i ask the average odometer reading brake pads should wear that much

Something is terribly wrong. I'm over 20,000 miles and pads are like new...
