As AZScorpion said, it doesn't wear off. I've had mine for 15 months now and I will still peer out the window at it from time to time, whether I'm at home or work, just to make sure I'm not imagining things. And to make sure everything is cool.
And someone else said something about turning around as you're walking away after parking. I do that too. My wife thinks I'm crazy. Maybe I am.
I just did the full service wash including under carriage to get all that nasty winter road shit off of it and did the quick spray shine and polish. Looks like new again. Inside and out.
