Raining in NC on and off since Monday. We had such a nasty thunderstorm on Monday that the outdoor seating area umbrellas were blown into employee parking lots and pin balling off cars. Good thing I’m a contractor and I park elsewhere.
On a side note I think my truck doesn’t want to get washed for a long time.

Here in northern central / and north east PA, rain is down about 6" from the total we should have thus far.

Next 7 days are supposed to be spotty showers for some and storms for others in NE PA.

Let it rain! I live in a rural area and the farmer who leases the field across from my house has field corn planted. There's a saying, "Knee high by 4th of July." The poor corn plants are barely 4" right now. Even if we get rain, I doubt it will be knee high in time.

Hot and humid with no electricity for AC is really nasty. I feel for those people.

We had another nasty round of thunderstorms all last night here in SD. Everyone here is saying this is unusual for this time of year to be this cool (only been low 60's the last 4 days) and this much rain almost every day.

Yet it's so hot and dry back in AZ a mountain loin came out and was found drinking from this homeowners pool.

Hot and humid with no electricity for AC is really nasty. I feel for those people.

AC is only the start of the problems without power, the biggest issue is no water if you have your own well. I'll survive in heat but being able to flush and showering is important to your sanity.

Farmers in N/W Ohio are praying for rain. On my way home from the range Monday, I noticed that the corn was starting to curl. Local news just said this am our area is between 4-5 inches down on rain for May/ June.

whenever the powers that be in DC are done punishing the states that did not support them in the elections they will let some of the others get some rain.
