Has anyone removed their FX4 front skid and replaced it with the ARB?

The pictures look like the factory plate covers more but I can't find a direct comparison.

Also curious about any differences in skid plate thickness.

Looking to maybe add the skids but unsure which way to go.

Currently both the ARB and the Shrockworks have free shipping so cost is a wash between the 2, but the Shrockworks set can integrate with the factory skid (Shrockworks is more expensive than ARB if you replace the factory skid)

It looks like the coverage is pretty similar between ARB and Shrockworks.with a bit of an edge to the ARB.

Oil change access is not really a concern as I have the Valvomax kit.

Thanks for any input!

I took off the FX4 skids and replaced it with ARB. The ARB is 3mm thick, but it's night and day difference between that the stock FX4 skid. The ARB covers the front diff better than the Shrockworks, IMO. I have used the ARB skids and I am very pleased with them.

I would *absolutely* not keep the FX4 skid plate in lieu of the Shrockworks.
