Thanks that looks nice and as above you also have great taste in choosing Sabre :) A quick eBay search I could not find in Charcoal Metallic which I think I want to go with.

That's good to know and gives me some conficence to maybe try it myself. So there was no worries about paint damage taking them off with a hairdryer? Also given that, it kind of makes me wonder if my truck is sitting out in the hot summer sun for some time if it would cause the letters to peel or crack? I have a garage but when I'm out and about it sits in the weather for long periods of time.

As far as the 3M letters you went with. Same question, could they be easily removed without paint damage if need be?
No worries about the truck sitting in the hot sun as I'm basically on the surface of it here. lol :sun: Also no problems with the paint damage from a hairdryer as long as you don't put it on high heat and just leave it in one spot. Just keep it about 10'-12" back and move it back and forth while peeling the letters off slowly. The 3M would work the same way, just warm them up and peel them off slowly.

Thanks. I started losing my hair over 20 years ago so I have not owned a hairdryer for a very long time. But thanks to your help, and the help others here provided, I'll try to do it myself and if I screw it up I'll buy a cheap hairdryer off Amazon to fix it. :)

Thanks again and to everyone else that posted here in response to my questions. I appreciate it.

I went with the Eye Catcher brand on Amazon. Red on magnetic Grey. Super easy to put on.

If you go the vinyl route make sure you use a lot of soapy water, more is better. Start from the top and work your way down using a q-tip to help guide them in place. Once they're in place just leave them alone until they set for a few minutes. Then you can work out any bubbles with the q-tip pushing (lightly) from the center out.

I think those are the ones I saw on Amazon. They are the same brand name at least, EyeCatcher from the post you linked. But I only see Gloss Graphite or Gloss Black as options in dark colors and not Magnetic. So if I were to guess maybe what matches what you have is Gloss Graphite?
Yes
Matched color, but not name.
Sorry, has been a while.

I'm thinking about the American flag lettering. Not sure how it would look on silver though.
I think it will look really good on silver. I really wanted those but all those colors would've been to much with the Saber color.

I went with Charcoal Metallic, matches the Magnetic pretty close. They also give you an extra R to practice with. Hardest part for me was when you peel the letters off the backing they tend to want to stick together like a magnet, especially if there‘s a light breeze out or a little wind. Just soak the panel and the letters good and you’ll have a ton of time to move them around and adjust them.

Has anyone put Black Platinum letters on a Magnetic Ranger? I'm ordering my truck next week and I'm planning to make mine like that.

Edit: I found a picture in the Magnetic Ranger Club Thread. Doesn't look bad.
