That's what I thought too but as you can see future is inevitable!

Well, at my age that is inevitable. I've been in lock down for a year and started noticing my pants are sliding off my skinny ass. I needed to lose a few lbs, and I wasn't really trying. Muscle atrophy is likely the main cause, but I've lost nearly 25 by sitting on my ass and drinking more. Go figure.

Well I guess it's better than what usually happens and gain a ton of weight. I think it would be easier to now gain some than try to lose it but then again I gain gain weight to save my life. lol

I don't think I've ever said this before but in this case I'll make an exception....Don't buy a damper. You'll just end up withering away into a pile of dust.

Let me stir the pot a little.....Is it true that damper users are not allowed to celebrate Father's Day? Obviously you have to cut up your Man-Card the first time one complains about the "big, heavy" tailgate slamming down so it stands to reason. Lol. Even my 5'2" wife rolls her eyes when she hears someone complain about no factory damper.

Just ask Dave for the special code. But be cordial cause he is in a fowl mood today
Lol We just returned from vacation and I hate getting back to reality. Don't worry Greg you're still on my list but right now Al @Texasota is my main project. ?

Sorry about your limp cable. Don't have enough blue pills for that :giggle:
Again, cable wasn’t limp, I was dampening the damper... also note the ratchet strap for raising the tailgate. It’s quite the procedure. I actually have to flip up the tonneau cover first all by myself.

I am still searching for a passenger side damper too... I’m very dainty

Lol all seriousness I do get the perception of the damper but with 3 boys, of which two are careless teenagers and one who is 9.... it’s saved me some body work. No matter how many times I yell

Greg, you are 100% safe. Dave is never going to be able to scratch me off his list.
