Most midsize I see are all Tacoma's around here.

I kinda like being the "non-conformed" and having something a little different! :)
:sunglasses: Definitely feel the same way about not having a Taco. They're EVERYWHERE out here.

For me, the Tacoma wasn't even an option. I'm 6'4" and that thing has no headroom.

Tons in the Ranger though.

HELLO?!?!

Hey everyone! I'm curious where I can go shred my new truck up in the woods. I'm new to this truck owning game and I just want to do some exploring! My Focus would only get me so far up the forest roads! Not really looking to do any crazy rock crawling but I want to find somewhere that doesn't have a locked gate at the start of every fun road!
Hey! I used to live in the Highlands, near 4th & Union.

There are tons of places to run everything from easy, well-maintained forest roads or full-on ORV parks. I didn’t get out too much this summer, but a fun spot was Stampede Pass. I have pics up here.

Want to get out more next year and maybe get out to play in the snow a bit this winter.

And alltrails.com is pretty legit as a resource to shop for trails. You can search by area, check out “best of” lists, and check reviews and advice for all the trails listed there.

Very nice! Thanks! I hadn't though of using All Trails for off-road trails and I've never explored the "best of" list either. Thanks for the heads up. Stampede looks great and it's not too far away. I'll have to put it on the list for next year.

Along with mine in Tacoma, I've seen 5 around here, 1 was a work truck, one was Magnetic Silver with Raptor wheels, grill, side vents and tailgate applique

Mine is NOT FX4, although it has the Sport Appearance Package with the Darker Magnetic color Wheels.
Someday I will paint my Fascia. . . But, I'll wait till I get a few scratches.
Huh, then it must be part of the SAP. Maybe most of the FX4s are also equipped with SAP as well?
I have an Lariat Fx4 and mine is painted body color as well (Lightening Blue). I do not have the SAP so that can't be it. I actually prefer the silver lower portion. I feel it helps extend the look of the bash plate and gives it a more aggressive stance. To each their own! :) For giggles I was looking on how to purchase that part in silver. There was another thread going on about this and no one can seem to nail why some are silver while others are body color. It doesn't seem to correlate to any of the packages. Maybe Ford gave the assembly person creative freedom selection ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I have only seen one here in Eugene but I know our local Ford dealer has sold several of them. I kinda like having something new that very few others in my local community drive. I have the only 4x2 (special order) in town since my local dealer only ordered 4x4 models.
I have seen a couple here in Eugene. I have been driving mine around since May. I Only have 3900 miles on it though. Last Month I saw a '19 Ranger in Reedsport on the Coast. It's Taco country.

Definitely Taco country up here in the PNW. We Rangers have to represent! With that said I did have a Taco owner comment and approach me out of the blue. He commented on how good the truck looked in person yesterday at the gas station. It was the first time he had seen one in person and said pics dont do it justice. I exchanged the pleasantry; he was in a cement grey TRD PRO (my fav color). We both left giving thumbs up to each other.

Population does seem to be growing and I am starting to see them more on the road now. I have seen two others parked in driveways around my neighborhood in the last month.
