Please help, WTF is wrong with my RR brake?

Airline tech was correct.

I swapped the inner and outer pads.

Dammit. Wasted $150 I can't get back. So that sucks

I did the same thing a couple years ago. Thought it was the caliper, bought a new one, bought new pads had the heated up wheel when driving etc etc. it’s a very odd design.

After 3+ years forum membership I have reached the following conclusion.

If @airline tech cannot sort out a mechanical/electrical issue posted here, then the OP of said posting may as well set the truck on fire and simply move on.

So, after correcting my mistakes everything is good with my truck again.

After test drive RR rotor is still slightly warmer that the other 3 but only by 10° or so. Not going to worry about that.

Have to agree with landiscarrier, it is a strange design.
