I found the pivot swing box on Amazon and posted a question asking what the four slots at the bottom are for. Got a reply from “Quikparts” that they’re for certain ratchet straps. See what else I can find out.
Sweet! Please report back!

When I saw that Ford pass points expire after a year, and some of mine will expire before next oil change is due, I decided to use them for a swing case. Went to the dealer parts dept. and was informed that Ford pass points no longer can be used for parts. That didn't sound right to me since I have seen others here using them for swing cases. Went out to my truck and called the next closest dealer. His reply "no problem it is just a matter of how we write it up. So thanks to this Forum for saving me some cash.
My case is now on order and he even applied my employee discount before sending me to the cashier. $194.65 plus 11.68 sales tax and my part is on the way. And I still have about 11,000 points left.

Just proves what I already knew. My dealers parts and service department sucks.

Ordered mine today and was informed by the parts department that they no longer have to go through the service department to redeem points. In fact, I was able to order them over the phone. He looked up my account to see how many points I had, removed that from the balance of the order, and I paid the balance with a credit card.

He did say this functionality was new for the parts department. His manager had to walk him through the new process.

Installed tonight I moved all my tie downs over the bed rug as well, no issues installing over the carpet. didn't want to cut the bed rug more than i had to.

Don't forget if you get two then you can contact swingcase and have them keyed the same. I ordered two at the same time and they sent them already set up to use the same key.

Realtruck.com, as well as swingcase's website undercoverinfo.com are running 15% off specials right now. Just ordered my passenger side case for $169.15+tax.

Just installed mine...driver's side.
Instructions say there's a pivot lock that latches on the bottom swing post that keeps the box from being lifted off the posts but there was no lock like that included in my kit.
Did any of you have such a lock in your kit?

No, mine didn’t include a lock. But any padlock should work fine.

I'm gonna have to buy a padlock for the bracket for sure, but the directions say there's a lock that attaches to the pivot post itself.
That's what I was hoping someone had experience with.
Pic of instructions to follow
