I really don't have any pet peeves with the truck. My biggest frustration is people that don't use their turn signals.

I always laugh when I see that. I chuckle and think to myself, "I guess turn signals are optional in their car." But I give them a lot of space for being stupid. ?I really don't have any pet peeves with the truck. My biggest frustration is people that don't use their turn signals.

Mustangs and F-150’s have those gaugesI don't think I've ever seen any new cars with that info. You could get scangauge to see those infi?
Agree it’s unfortunate Ford did not at least put an electronically controlled rear slid window like they do in the full size trucks. Had this in my F-150 and used it often. I have had my Ranger for 3 months now and have not opened it once since you need to do it before getting into the front seat. One side benefit of having a SuperCab is that I can reach back and adjust the rear slider. Having said that, however, I would agree in the case of a SuperCrew..
That’s impressive. I assume you live in an area where it’s fairly flat. That's just by getting 26-28 mpg. Very doable if you drive eco-concious (not even hyper-mileing). Even when running 87 like I do. I've gotten over 500 miles on a tank before. Granted that was during all highway driving, but it is still very possible.
Agree 100%. Trying to open it on a super cab by reaching back is impossible. You have to open the back doors, reach in and open it. And then, in most cases....forget it’s open when you get to where you’re going and it stays open. Maybe design the trim piece with a gradual "swelling" so that near the top, the inside is scooped out for a handle, leaving the outside surface flush; no protrusion to dent your cranium.all this talk of a drivers side door handle....is there a possibility they arent passing crash tests with flying colors if they are installed?
looks to be a good place to bash in your skull
Follow them with your high beams and turn signal on until the next safe opportunity to pass.Or the people that run below the speed limit. You wait patiently for a passing zone and they jackrabbit you and speed up to prevent you from getting by them. Had that happen tonight. Jerks.
I agree the TM/TC is a great feature. I know some have said it's gimmicky but it does work well and helps maneuvering over large rocks. I use it quite often end yes sometimes it's not necessary but why not use it if you have it? Also if you set the delay on your back up camera then put it in R you can see what's behind you up to 5 mph. When you hear that big thud at least you can see what it was without getting out now. lolMy only pet peeves so far is the window button placement, and that super-loud fan clutch on startup. OTOH, it is nicely optioned for a first gen.
That terrain management system is SWEET! I crawled up a very steep trail out here, and setting cruise control at 3mph to negotiate it was cool in the rock section. I like how it keeps you at that speed coming off a rock instead of having to go gas/brake/gas/brake. I'll be playing with that more very soon.
The trailer button is next to the button to turn off auto start/stop. I hit the start/stop button every time I get into the truck because I think that is the most ridiculous thing to do to your engine is to re-start it 10 times when once is enough. Every 5th time i fat finger it and also hit the trailer button. Its kind of like the old spiral florescent light bulbs (Sucks bad) I forgot the other day so at the first red light my engine shuts off and then re-starts in 5 seconds (It was 95F outside) How did that do anything besides wear out my starter and battery? StupidLet me be clear, I am in LOVE with this truck. Looking forward to a decade of use out of her. But there are a few little things that annoy me. The window switch location is awkward being so far back. And the tail gate has a huge gap all the way around the edges I can almost stick my fingers through from inside the bed to outside with a bed cover on.
What are your little pet peeves?

the auto-start uses a large capacitor for the restart. It won’t do anything if the battery starts to wear. I turn mine off too. The timing gets advanced also so it’s really easy on the starter. It’s been on the F150’s for years. You can pop the switch out and jumper it for an always off like the F-150 probably. I’m gonna try it my next day off. The light will stay on, but unlike the F-150, you won’t see it unless you’re looking for it.The trailer button is next to the button to turn off auto start/stop. I mean, I don't live in the mountains, but I also don't live in flat Kansas or anything either. There's some good hills. Elevation changes of +/- 1000 feet. The driving conditions certainly help, but so does my driving style. That’s impressive. I assume you live in an area where it’s fairly flat.
