P0471 Exhaust Pressure Sensor

Hey all, my CEL comes on and off every week or so the last three weeks. Code: P0471 exhaust pressure sensor a circuit range/performance.
I replaced the DPFE assembly with the sensor and tubes. A week later, it's back on.

Anything I'm missing?

Yes, the Ref Link above - That code is not for the DPFE, its for the EGR Pressure Sensor (AKA Back-Pressure Sensor)

For location Ref: next to the EGR Valve

Possible Issues- Bad Sensor, Bad Wiring or Clogged EGR Tube


Scan Tool PID Data:

Compare Baro Reading and Ex Pressure Reading (PSI) - PIDs

Normal Baro @ Idle is approx 14.5 to 14.7 PSI
The EP Sensor should read slightly higher than Boro approx 14.8 @ idle

Not that it is related, but did you replace the hoses for the DPFE as well or clean out the stock ones?

I changed out the entire assembly and that didn't fix so I changed out EGR sensor and all is good.
