Good news! Showed up apparently yesterday. Dealer didn’t call and the tracker only shows it delivered after 5pm today. So I guess the tracker doesn’t update hourly.
Not bad from shipped 12/13 and delivered 12/20. It was estimated for 1/3 so this is a pleasant early Christmas for me. I mean my wife! Dealership is closed tomorrow but will be stopping over to see it and make sure it’s safe.
Actually it was the other way around. Wurlitzer and Seeburg Jukeboxes were styled to resemble cars.
Top: 1958 Oldsmobile 98
Middle: Seeburg Jukebox
Bottom: Wurlitzer Jukebox[/QUOTE]
I stand corrected...lol
He traded the Olds for a brand new '60 Caddy Coupe DeVille which didn't have as much chrome but he lavished as much attention on. He was a GM man while my Dad (his younger brother) was all Ford, we owned a '57 white Country Squire then and a dowdy '52 green Ford Mainline 2-door.
I remember my brother and I helping him wash and wax (Simonize) the Caddy every Sunday morning. The car was black on black, I wonder how many cows had given up their hides just for the upholstery. He would move the car so that we could scrub the other half of the ultra-wide white sidewall rear tires on the back, not wanting to remove the fender skirts. My brother and I would earn $5 each for our help, we thought that we were richer than Howard Hughes!
We stopped by and were able to find it ready for prep likely ready for tomorrow. 4 cargo hooks lol!
Well, Merry Christmas to you! How exciting! Beautiful Ranger!!!
Thank you! My wife is excited but not nearly as much as I am.
Sweet! looks as though it was worth the wait, so sweet that the light dusting of snow looks like confectioners sugar!
Congrats and Merry Christmas!
Thanks. It is actually frost but kinda hard to tell. Very sweet of you! Ha!
Lol, all I know is that it is some sort of frozen H2o of which we very rarely see in Honolulu, however, there was hail (more like slush) which was reported on the central part of Oahu yesterday.
At any rate, I can see why you are excited like a kid on Christmas morning!
You did good kid...
I picked it up today minus the wife. I mean, she didn’t divorce me! She had to run to Delaware for horse blankets. So did the paperwork and brought it home. She isn’t back yet but have been cleaning and taking care of everything but set to up the phone for her.
No Ranger script on the front seats which I’m ok with. Confirmed no passenger nips for front passenger seat floor mat. Engine cover is present. It does have two map holders behind each front seat. Is that normal? Thought there was only one.
Yeah, I know: Pics or it didn’t happen.
That is one fine looking truck you got and an equally impressive garage setup.
When you say the mat is missing the nubs, it looks from the picture that there are no retainers to hold the mat in place like the driver's side?
I hope you're not referring all the hundreds of little nubs on the underside of the mat.
Got a call from the dealership's sales manager (incredibly) today, my 2020 is still sitting on San Diego's docks, according to Pasha's website information, the next sailing to HNL departs CA 12/24 and arrives 12/30, though cargo won't be available till 1/2/20.
The next scheduled sail date after that is 1/8/20, arrives HNL on 1/13/20 with cargo available on 1/15/20.
Hopefully, my truck makes tomorrow's sailing, we shall see...enjoy your handsome truck!
Congrats on finally picking up your Ranger,it looks really good! Hopefully she lets you drive it once in a while. lol
Correct about the retainers; hundreds of nubs are still there’s days holds in place fine.
Congrats! Won’t be too much longer I hope!
