Not to turn this serious, but has there been a trend of broken glass? That seems to be 1 of the few topics that I never see on here. I haven't had a chip yet lol. Watch me get one on the way home from work today.

I don't think there's been a "trend" but there have been many who've had theirs break or chip very easily. My '19 had a good size chip right in the middle (about 18 months ago) but I had Safelite epoxy it and it held up great. Even in my accident it never cracked which I was surprised as it was a pretty good side impact.

After its first new england winter the windshield on my ranger is covered in small chips. The 2003 GX470 it replaced still had the original glass and had half as much damage.

I guess I'll add that to my list of reasons to stay south of the snow/salt territories.

no trend of it that i know of it. mine broke but it was own mistake that caused it. ive heard a few folks say they had issues with window seals and leaks.

I don't miss asphalt blocks passing under the car in front perfectly aimed at my tire...or Aholes tossing out nails on the highway for the fun of it...oh how I hated driving in Detroit...
