2021 orders will be delivered in latter 2022.
2022 orders will be delivered in early to mid 2023.
2023 orders will be delivered in mid to late 2024.

The 2023 is a carryover 5th Gen Ranger for anyone who thinks if they order it next month it'll be the new 6th Gen model. I just thought I would point that out because there will be a few people who get all upset when they go to order and realize it's not the new one.

Now this is not all bad news for current 5G owners or the people that prefer the current model over the new one. The 5G Ranger will have been produced for 5 model years which will help for long term parts and support. 5 model years is pretty standard for a vehicle line before it is redesigned so that is a good thing.

It's a very heavy refresh, but it's still a T6 based truck. They refer to it T6.2 internally.

Staying with my 5G. At the Core it will be the same truck. Engine, trans, and body of Frame. New goodies for more money. No Thanks.

I'm a glutton for punishment so I'll be ordering one. Just remember the 2023 is still the 5th Gen Ranger and the R6G doesn't come out until 2024. This will be the first truck I've kept for more than 3 years and it's only because of the crazy prices and the shortages now. I figure if I order one when the new R6G order banks open I just might get it 2-3 years later. Plus mine is running really great so there's really no reason to get a new 2023 right now but I guess if the price was right I'd consider one.

Same here Doc depending on the price. But I really want to see if there's a PHEV Ranger because that might peek my interest a little more than a Raptor.

A PHEV ranger would be the only reason I would switch

A PHEV ranger would be the only reason I would switch

A PHEV that's as fast/faster than a Raptor in 2WD might be able to make a case for me in another 6 years or so.
