Old Fobs....Pre 5G

Hi Folks,

Found these the other day when sorting out more old Ford memorabilia. They are lonely and looking for a good home with an older Ranger. No charge...

Not sure of usage but likely through 2011, but these are pre 2004 model year.... Not much use to me so if you know of anyone that could use one or two...let me know... Not even sure if they still work....likely need batteries at a minimum...

Looks like what my dad had on his late 90s explorer. I think it was an XLT. Company car with perforated leather and cd changer in the boot. We towed their first pontoon boat up a massive hill in it and I remember him flooring it to get up the hill ?. I bet someone on eBay would really appreciate those. When I was looking for fobs for my older M3, it was surprising how hard it was to find working fobs that could be programmed with the OE security system.

Every time ? One of the biggest annoyances with both my Ranger and my dad's Fusion.

Old? That is the same design I was handed when work gave me my 2021 explorer...

Then again they did get the lame 280/280 V6 3.3L version...

I was going to pull an awesome prank on someone and install a Boomba BOV if we had gotten the ecoboost motors.

jam into you leg? Flip the keys into the fob.

The fob itself is bulky, and the blade release button occasionally gets pressed while in my pocket.
