Mike Z and I are the folks behind the scenes on the Ranger GT. I did the suspension, Mike did the cosmetics. Fun project...details are in another post or so... Based off my SCCA Racetruck Test Mule...

Lawn outside Truck Operations...This truck and I set the fastest ever recorded time on the Ford Dearborn Proving Ground handling track. It stands today as they tore up the handling track...

The original Ranger Splash was a flare side bed, wheel wells outside the bed. This appears to only be another trim package joining the black package, chrome package and sport package.

I fought this dumb name Splash...tried to block it but it was a Human Resource employee deal...The engineering community in Truck including all Truck employees voted for Splash To me Splash is a Turd hitting the toilette water....Totally dumb name...but....here it is again and in my old age...to hear a splash is a noise of relief from the constant constipation of old age....

Yep...quite low to the ground...Axle in the back flipped above the spring, which was a "before" its time monoleaf to reduce weigh. Notice the camber of the rear axle...this was a failure...no improvement in lap times but axle failure happened... Again..another post way back but we tried but relented to not fooling with rear camber....

Not a big fan of added graphics, except for maybe the stripes on a 66 Shelby GT 350. This looks like more of a “Drip” than a “Splash”. I could do better with a can of Rust-Oleum.
